Checklist for Landlords

Here’s what we need from you before we can sign the lease agreement.

  • Gas Safety Certificate by a Gas Safety Registered Engineer these are renewed once a year – we can arrange this for you if required.
  • Electrical Safety Certificate- carried out by an NICEC registered contractor. These usually last from 1 to 10 years as recommended by electrician based upon the type and age of installation.
  • Energy Performance Certificate (EPC)
  • If the property is a licensed HMO then will require evidence of this.
  • Proof of Ownership (Consent to Let) – Land Registry document or mortgage statement.
  • Proof of your identity – driver’s licence or passport.
  • Three sets of keys per property.
